Staff Announcement

I am pleased to announce that Ken Purvis will be the
Museum Coordinator at Montgomery's Inn, commencing April 9, 2008.

Ken brings a passion for history and the arts as well as more  than 20 years
of experience in museum programming and community engagement
through his work as Senior Program Officer at Fort York, National Historic Site.  Ken is a graduate of Fanshawe College's Music Industry Arts program
and  performs regularly with the local music ensembles Gin Lane
and the Regency Parlour Ensemble. Community organizations have enjoyed Ken's presentations on the history of Toronto, the War of 1812
and military music for many years and he has been a regular guest lecturer
for the learning travel organization Routes to Learning Canada.

Please join us in welcoming Ken in his new role at Montgomery's  Inn.
